No hidden charges. I never pay anything apart from the pre pay fuel option. Put it this way. I have been renting for 41 years in the US and have never been stung.
Book through a UK Company, check the T & C's and also dont be upsold by the desk clerks.

So, my flights are via Miami, so the quotes do seem a tad cheaper... they are all around 630 give or take

So which one do you go with? Out of this lot I would run with Alamo as I have used them before with no grief

Dodge, thrifty, budget or Alamo
