I’ll be there on Monday night so will try to do a wee review the following day.

I would go to one if I was there due to lower park attendance and the Epcot fireworks look much more spectacular than they usually are. I’ve never been there when one is on, and this time I typically fall between two dates..l

I suspect they are excellent events and always good to get something as Members.

The problem is we are gone from the Parks by 5.00pm at the latest.

I know where you are coming from, we are early starters, set off home by 2pm people, but we are doing a few late nights (for us) this year to see fireworks and ROL, but on those days we won’t be going in until near 3pm.
Off topic but I never arrange to be in parks 8am to 12 am , I don’t see the attraction unless you are only there a few days. In fact Mrs YT made me cancel some of our ADRs as she doesn’t want to be rushing around and meeting deadlines, heading back to parks etc and would rather enjoy a relaxed pace and the resort. So Via Napoli has gone, and when I get around to it Homecomin’ is going.
In Epcot that evening we’d have been going to Via Napoli we are just quick service and going with the flow. So now I’m down to the following ADRs, in line with my upcoming trip report - ‘Dining push back, does only dining in good value restaurants diminish enjoyment? ‘Bit long title but sums it up.
Beaches and Cream
Yak and Yeti (no ADR, Landrys).
Be Our Guest lunch.
The Plaza
Saana
Will be a big change. Just finalised my Instacart and put ingredients in for a good meal for us second night- entire cost $10 for 4, before we head out for some mini golf.

It's all horses for courses and what suits us would fill others with horror and vice versa.

We never do early morning hours. The very maximum we do is 9 to 5 but normally a lot less. Finally I could no more go for an evening meal straight from a Park than fly.

However when we are in a Park we design it so we do rides on opposite sides of the Park and go back and fore repeatedly We like to walk 10 miles a day if possible and at quite a brisk pace.
Always in the sun and never go in the air con shops.
Heat! Must have heat!

Talking of ADRs if I cancel anymore we will have none left! Tough luck Disney you have created a perfect storm, overpriced food that is average at best.

This is good news!

Do you think they'll allow us to sub a side for a dessert? The portions are so huge I don't think i've ever eaten a side in America, ever lol.

Let us know how it goes if they give you the quick serve tonight (think they will).

A wee review -

Food - we ate at electric umbrella. You could have any main you wanted from the menu and your side was either fries or a fruit cup. Then either bottled water, soda or a slushie.

Rides - I personally thought the queues were longer than I expected. Test track single rider at 10.15pm - I waited 30 minutes!
Walked to frozen and decided not to ride - queue was outside the attraction and posted wait time was 40 minutes.
Figment also had a queue right out the building!
Nemo however was a walk on and I waited 20 minutes for my picture with Sebastian from Little Mermaid.

Merchandise - waited about 10 minutes to buy a tshirt.

Free mickey ice cream bars in two locations.

Fireworks at 11.45pm which is when we left - in the hope the bus would be empty - it wasn’t - standing room only!

Overall , although I enjoyed my evening, I don’t think I would rush to go back to a DVC event - much more crowded than I expected.
