Health test results
I am after some advice and help. I have just had a health screening done and received the results all were good apart from the following -
weight (bmi 33.5) - very overweight Biochemistry AST - 39 and ALT 53 Full blood count - Red blood cell count 3.67 and Lymphoctes 1.14 (15.9%) They have recommend I see my doctor which I will do when I get back from Disney next week but if anyone can shed some light on the above I would be most grateful. Many thanks.

Sorry cant help with the interpretation of your results.
My results of full bloods - they are all ok. Unfortunately this doesn't tell me anything as bloods were a diagnostic starting point for the doctor - now have to wait another 3 weeks to have a phone appointment - grrrrr

I'm anaemic and my red blood count is low too. I think from your results you are anaemic too - you may need iron supplements but speak to your doctor first. Your GP may want to do further tests to establish why. My dad is coeliac and first found out from low iron. There are lots of reasons as well as diet, thats why its important to speak to your doctor before doing anything.

All those results could point to lots of things. A mild infection, fatty liver or raised cholesterol due to your weight, anaemia, etc etc.
Nobody on here can diagnose. Hope your GP can give you the answers and what steps to take. |

Thank you, I was not looking for a diagnosis more a reassurance or information from someone who may have had similar results. I will be seeing my doctor when he/we are back after the holidays. Thank you again.
