Just bought an Amazon Echo 2nd Gen. Any tips?

For DH’s birthday tomorrow I’ve bought him an Amazon Echo 2nd Generation gizmo. I’ve also downloaded Spotify Premium for family. Any tips for me please from people familiar with these things? Me and DD have been playing with Spotify for an hour and that seems easy ish. She’s one happy 16 year old and may have suggested this gift for her as much as her dad 😂

Make sure to check out the Disney related skills in the Alexa skill store, there are skills for Magical Mouse Radio, and Subsonic Radio, plus quizzes etc. You need to enable a skill first in the skills store (on the Alexa app), then you can open them by asking. Is there anything in particular you wanted to know about?

We love audible and amazon music. DS likes to play Deal or no deal. We have hue lights linked up too, and some switches. It’s good for setting alarms, the kids wake up to their favourite music playing. But it’s great for those random moments when the kids are arguing what the tallest building in the world is, or wondering how many miles it is to Florida, or how many days until Christmas.
But not great when the 3yr old can say ‘Alexa, play Barbie Girl’
