14 day ticket with free dining early activation.

My DD and I are arriving 2 days before DS and DH sue to school for my DS. I have an annual pass and we have free dining package - with 14 days tickets too however was wondering has anyone been able to have their 14 day ticket as purchased with free dining activated early..if that makes sense?

Your dining plan kicks in when you check-in so whenever you check-in your DP will start. Don't believe you can 'activate' it before you check-in if that's what you mean?

No I don’t believe you can if the tickets were bought as a package to qualify for the free dining

I have seen a response from Disney to this question posted in here before where it says they can be activated up to 5 days (I think) early, but I'm not sure how. I'll try to find the post.

Found it, and it looks like it's 10 days, not 5:

"We are so excited to hear that you will be visiting us next year! If you would like to activate your tickets early, you will have to go to a Theme Park for your first day and speak with a Cast Member in Guest Relations. Guest Relations at the Theme Parks can activate your tickets no more than 10-days before your stay with us on the property.

Please note that you will not be able to make FastPass+ selections for the days that are before your stay due to the tickets being attached to your reservation. Once the tickets are activated at the Theme Parks, you will be able to make FastPass+ selections for the days you have not already made for."

But doesn't this activate the entire party. Didn't think you could split if on the same booking.

It doesn't matter as the ticket itself will only actually activate the first time it's used to enter a park, so the ones that aren't used early will just activate as normal when they're first used.
