2020 prices up with ATD

As title 2020 hotel prices up with ATD but not Disney. So not sure how accurate they are!

Just took a look... if accurate, 6% increase on my 2019 dates for the same week in 2020. Was expecting more.

ATD went a lot earlier than WDTC last year as well. The "waiting for prices" thread is too long to dig through to see how accurate they were in the end though.

Kenwood Travel have them up too and they're normally pretty close to Disney's prices.

My 2019 price with Disney direct would have been £2388 for 2 weeks at CBR (no tickets).
Kenwood's prices for the equivalent dates in 2020 are £2486, so an increase of just £98.

I booked with ATD for this year and my price before any discounts was £2320, and for next year the equivalent dates are £2520, so a £200 increase with them, and £34 more than Kenwood.

TBH I was expecting more with SW land (and all the stuff going on with DVC!). Hopefully free dining will launch too. TBH I don’t really want to go back til 2021 but I think Im pushing my luck expecting there to be free dining then

I think there will always be some form of free dining, I suspect it will just get more and more restrictive (similar to the US offer) rather than being cut completely.

Disney haven't released their 2020 prices yet. They're currently only taking bookings until the end of December this year and third parties can and do charge what they want.

We're aware of that, but after tracking prices for years we also know that some companies prices are usually a good indication of what might come. No harm in looking and using them as a rough guide. Also, if someone is happy to pay the price that ATD or Kenwood are offering (which aren't too bad compared to 2019 prices) it really doesn't matter what Disney's prices are does it?

I was replying to the OP who specifically said that Disney's prices for 2020 haven't gone up and I told them that Disney hasn't released them yet I wasn't replying to anyone else. And I did stay in my response that third parties can and do charge what they want.

Well, as you didn't quote them, I no way of telling that! The quote function is very useful if you just want to reply to a specific post, rather than just contribute to the thread in general.

Also,they knew Disney's prices weren't up, so not quite sure why you needed to tell them that! If they're not there it's kind of obvious that they haven't been released

Third party companies regularly release prices before Disney do, and they will get the prices from Disney to base theirs on, hence it often being a good indicator of prices to come.

Also with ATD the Disney ticket was £429 when you proceeded thru to the end whereas I am sure there standalone ticket for 2020 was £465 (i think it was ATD I’ve looked at that many!). Kenwood was more expensive than ATD!
