That's great, have an amazing time! What a bargain it is when it's during school time.

Have a great time, we really enjoyed Sherwood last year. I keep checking for bargains as we’d love to go back but not for over 1000 for 4 nights in school holidays!

Cracking deal, have a great time. We are restricted to school holidays too as i'm a teacher, and I've not yet found a price for UK CP that I'm prepared to pay, someone recommended looking at Europe, and sure enough I've booked for a week in Belgium for far less than the UK parks, even taking travel costs into account. I booked through the Dutch site (thank you google translate) and shaved an additional few ££ off compared to the same holiday booked through the UK site.

Have you done the European ones before? What are they like? Is it exactly the same setup as in the UK?

Going at half term for the first time. It looks similar to the UK, got the pool complex and bikes to hire and a gazillion extras you can book. I'll report back once we've been. Not been to the UK ones since I was a child because school holidays are just soooo expensive. I have very fond memories of childhood holidays though.

Thanks, I'd definitely be interested to know how it is.

Just thought I'd check in with a quick note now we are back from De Vossermeren Center Parcs. We had a really nice time, the drive over was long.. but the Parc was good, not dissimilar to UK. Chalet was basic, and we went for the Premium, I'd go for VIP next time I think, might also look at a nearer park, but great value compared to UK prices. We cycled to the nearest town, which was brilliant because there was a really safe cycle path all the way. I might do a quick trip report later. xx

yes please on the trip report...

We went to one of the Dutch ones a few years ago - same with the accommodation (well, ours was also Premium - but shabby, basic and a bit damp) - but the park was great. Have moved to SW UK now though, so way too far for a long weekend for us...
