Virgin flight prices
Why is it that when searching for Virgin flights on their website for MAN to MCO the prices are in the thousands. We are looking at January 2020 but I’ve also looked at November this year and they are hiked up as well. Yet if I go through Kenwood travel I can get Virgin flights at normal prices.

as i understand it, Kenwood doesn't have a "live" price system, so it may not be that the price you're seeing on Kenwood is actually the price you'll pay.
Having said that, my last flights to MCO were with Virgin, but I booked them through netflights as netflights was significantly cheaper than VA was. |

The Virgin Atlantic site will always show the live price at that moment in time. Travel Agents and flight discounters will buy seats from airlines and then sell them on - so that can sometimes explain the variance.
Virgin Holidays will give you a price for a holiday with economy seats more than a year ahead but they wont give a price for UCS until the seats are available from Virgin Atlantic. There's also a great deal of smoke and mirrors with airline pricing that is sometimes difficult for we consumers to uncover! |

I have tried different dates, one way and return,we go every year and usually the economy price will show at £400 to £500 return, this time for next January they are showing at more than £1400 each, not sure if they are testing the water first and then will drop to normal price later.

Hi we had the same problem with Virgin prices. We have decided to go from Gatwick with British Airways £377 each with luggage, food and drinks included. driving down the day before and staying in 2 rooms at the travelodge total £61.
We have flown with Virgin for many years but have really lost faith in them. |
