What's the name of the top picture voodoo doughnut? With icing and sprinkles? That looks lush, I got the doll last time and wasn't fused as it turns out I'm not a fan off jam doughnuts! I much prefer the more basic ones. 😃

That donut is the little pink. The flash made it look different.

We enjoyed Toothsome last time but not in a rush to go back

Another good food day
Burger Digs is pretty big as well so makes for a good location.

We just bought 6 similar donuts at Target for $1.50. It shows the difference

The theme of NBC isnt to everyones taste including ours but the food was good. We wanted to stick to new places.

I think most of the ring donuts are around $1.50-$2.00 it's the larger ones that are more expensive. I think the Memphis is over $5. The one I want to try is around $3 or $4 too. They all look so yummy 😊
Typical that good ones are the expensive ones.i really liked the Memphis Mafia.

MINIONS CHARACTER BREAKFAST ROYAL PACIFIC RESORT

I have not seen many reports about the Minions character breakfast so hopefully you might find this useful if planning on going.

The breakfast is in a similar vein to Disney character one. It is prepaid though. It is situated in the Royal Pacific resort hotel which is where we were staying. There are plenty of signs directing you to where the breakfast was taking place.

Once you check-in you have a photo with Gru and a minion but there was no photographer which I think is quite poor.

I also didnt realise that it was communal seating which for some is fine but for me is something I dont enjoy, it makes me uncomfortable. We are with another family from the UK who were fine so it wasnt too bad.

The room was lovely and Im guessing there was seating for around 100 or so.

Once you seated then you go up to the buffet in the same style to a Disney one. There was quite a wide variety of food but nowhere near as much variety as a Disney buffet. There was cereals, fruits, breads, pastries and then hot items included scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, bacon, sausages and pancakes. It was all very nice and we all ate loads.

After a while the characters came round the tables for photos. This was a lot slower and more intermittent than the Disney character Buffets. Interaction was good though.

Overall it was good but I dont think we do it again.

$34.99 per adult.

My Dd will love that mint soft serve ice cream, will have to look out for that.

Shame it was a shared table at the minions breakfast, I don't think I'd have fancied that much either. I'm ok at Teppan Edo but prefer to have our own table at regular restaurants.

MANNYS CHOPHOUSE 192

Weve never had the chance to visit Mannys before so we were really looking forward to this. We have settled in at Encantada resort after moving from Universal. Mannys is just up the road from our resort so was the logical choice after unpacking and settling in into new resort.

I used the call ahead feature and rang to say we would be there in 10 minutes. The car park was very busy as we pulled in and there were a few people milling around outside. We checked in, said my name and were shown straight to a booth.

Rightaway we all liked the atmosphere and style of the restaurant. Our server came over and gave some menus and answered any questions. He was very friendly and pretty good throughout the meal but he did disappear at one stage for ages when we wanted some drinks.

The kids and Kelly were happy drawing on the paper on the table.

The menu was huge and again our eyes were bigger than our bellies. We keep on making the same mistake by getting appetisers but we couldnt resist!

Kelly had the French onion soup which she said was absolutely lovely.

Lily wanted onion rings and these were fantastic. We all shared these.

Evie had mozzarella sticks. She enjoyed them.

I went for boneless hot chicken wings. These were huge! Really tasty but I left a couple due to fears of not being able to finish my main.

We were then given salad. We were a little confused if we ate it now or saved for our main. We saved it but to be honest wasnt something we really needed. It was good though but we didnt really want the egg in it.

For mains Lily had the chicken nuggets and fries. She didnt really eat much again.

Evie had the chicken teriyaki that came with rice. This also came with another side and she chose fries. She really liked this.

Kelly had salmon which again came with the rice and another side and she chose and loaded baked potato. She thought this was lovely.

I had to have a steak. The only choice for me. I went to the 14 ounce ribeye. Cooked medium rare. I chose loaded mash as my side. This was good but if Im being completely honest it still wasnt up to the taste of the steak I had at Longhorn on our last visit.

Overall a fantastic meal. Wouldnt be surprised if we end up back here again at a later date on this trip as it is so convenient for us and its really good. The service was good as well.

Overall this came to $130 including a 20% tip. Fantastic value compare to onsite but once again ordered way too much. We will learn about appetisers one day I promise!
