03.06.2019 - More of LA

Travelling this time was DH (54) - driver/eater/moaner/petrol head/biker

Me (51) - navigator/planner/booker/spreadsheet creator/feeder

Today started early again but not as bad as yesterday. I was making coffee in the room at 5:30 and we were in Denny's for breakfast by 7am

One French Slam for me and a Lumberjack slam for DH with coffee for both $30.42. Delish!

Today was going to be a much more relaxed affair following our full on day yesterday. I had a couple of places on my list to visit so we got in the car and programmed the first location into the GPS.

Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery

The entrance was quite difficult to find and we ended up parking in a car park nearby and walking a short distance to the entrance.

There was a funeral going on so we remained at a distance out of respect

The day before would have been Marilyn's 93rd birthday!

It was a beautiful place and I'm so glad we visited. Not at all morbid, but tranquil and peaceful

Next stop was the Mount Sinai Memorial Park Cemetery

There was only one resting place I wanted to see here, and it took a while to find. Mainly because we split up and it turned out that she was located in the very first courtyard that DH went into. He didn't know her name was Ellen Naomi Cohen

Next stop for the day was DH's choice.

The Petersen Automotive Museum. $32 for us both to get in.

A very impressive collection that took a good 3 hours to go around the 3 floors. DH was very impressed.

We drove back to the motel and decided to eat at the Dreams Café which was attached to the motel.

I had a Caesar salad with water and he had a smokey burger with a Bud and a coffee. $34.44 plus tip

I'm afraid another early night was in store. Once I'd posted my daily facebook post for the folks, I was soon nodding off
