4 go back again food report
Hi everyone!
We arrived yesterday and after spending the past year (OK maybe 4 years ) I thought I would try a live report just of the food then a full trip report when I return! Pre travel day Saturday 17th august We went to giraffe for dinner at Gatwick airport. We had the following - Stuart pomegranate iced tea plus chicken katsu curry I had strawberry and lime cider plus a reuben sandwich Caitlin and James had the same things! Strawberry split smoothie and a sloppy Joe burger. Stuart and I really enjoyed all of ours. James was desperate for the burger seen he was it a couple of weeks ago but he really didn't like it 😕 caitlin thought it was OK-not a best winner! The drinks were enjoyed though! Travel day Sunday 18th august We had breakfast at the premier inn. It was fine not amazing! On the plane we had drinks and mini pretzels Stuart - jd and coke Charlotte - vodka and orange juice Caitlin - coke James- apple juice Then lunch was a choice for the adults - either chicken casserole or vegetable pasta. Children's meal was chicken nuggets and mash. Stuart and I really enjoyed our meals, there was flavour in the food! Adults - Children's meal Then we all had a mini magnum Afternoon tea was Chicken ceaser salad sandwich and banana bread The children meal was a box of cheese sandwich, jaffa cake bar and a capri sun We then didn't eat until after being in the pool so at 9pm us time we shared a Meatlovers flatbread and swapped the drink for 3 mickey Beignets. We all ready enjoyed this and it was perfect as meals each would have been way too much! 1 quick service credit used |

Dinner for Day 1 -
We went to blaze! We love the pizzas there and it had been on our 'MUST return to list. We shared - aiming for sharing food and trying more food and not being massively full! Stuart and I had a build your own with spicy red sauce, Italian sausage, chicken, spinach, red onion, banana peppers - it was lovely, so so good and a nice bit of spice in there! The children had extra cheese and some pepperoni. They really enjoy it too. We had a blood orange lemonade and a black cherry lemonade to drink. 2 more QS credits used. |

Look forward to seeing what you eat. I've been busy taking photos since we got here but haven't got round to posting yet.
We also have a Caitlin!

Enjoy your holiday! Some great food so far. Mickey pretzel on day 1 plus you managed to try out the Beignets on your travel day, that's really good going. I'm looking forward to more updates.

Thank you!
We didn't manage a mickey pretzel at all last time so I have a little list of things we want to eat! 😂 Beignets were so good, and massive! We shared 3 between us 4 and it was enough... Just need to find the boozy ones as I really fancy them filled with baileys! Hope the Disney blues haven't set in too deep for you 😭 |
