First thank you every body for your good wishes pms emails and bucket loads of pixie dust
Josh is now breathing on his own but is only responding to his older brother and a friend from playgroup he's having a real hard time with medication he's like me 2 paracetamol and I'm out for the count
Today was very hard as he's thrashing about trying to pull out his feeding tubes etc but because of his reaction to meds they need to get him off as much as possible
He faces further surgery this week
He's had fantastic care from his medical team pastoral care team and
An amazing social worker who has been fantastic with our DIL who's struggling to cope due to her autism and own health issue from organising child care and support for her
Again thanks everybody your messages on here and privately have been a great comfort in the darkest moments

Helen, I’m so pleased to hear Josh is breathing on his own. I know he has a long road ahead but this is a big step I’m sure. That’s great to hear he has a good team of people around him both professional and family.
