Uber/Lyft setup and codes. Help please.

Can someone please let me know do I need to download and setup in the UK or do I wait until I'm in the USA? I will be using my UK card as there is no transaction fees so wasn't sure if it needed to be activated here first? Also want to use the sign-up codes so didn't want to sign up here then find out the USA codes no longer work. Thanks

Also wondering this. We go in 4 weeks time and we will be relying on Lyft for our transport. Hopefully someone who knows can reply soon

I set mine up in uk and used it no problem in Florida

$15 $5 credit per ride for 3 rides LYFTPROMO15
$16 $4 credit per ride for 4 rides LYFTPROMO16
$18 $3 credit per ride for 6 rides LYFTPROMO18
$25 $2.50 credit per ride for 10 rides LYFTPROMO25
