Mobile Villa response

I have posted this in the current issues part but not sure where it should be posted.
I can delete the wrong one or mods?

Our balance is due on the villa we booked. We emailed them yesterday and just received a reply.
Looks like they are expecting some updates on the 1st June ?
If travel is not allowed do we need to go through insurance for the deposit? Deposit was £615

We believe we will be hearing more very soon like June 1st so let’s wait and see how things go over next 2-3 weeks and talk then.

In the meantime I recommend contacting your travel insurance company to find out what they require to make a claim in case travel does not open back up in time for your summer 2020 dates

A little update. We read the terms and conditions of our deposit, it was as clear as mud!
We emailed again yesterday to say that our flights are now cancelled therefore what is the procedure on the deposit of £700 we have paid.
They have emailed back stating to go through insurance or loose it.

In the grand scheme of things £700 is not a lot of money. But it is a lot for us as we budget tightly.
Is it even worth going through insurance? The deposit was paid via paypal.

We now need to chase up charter travel and i am hoping they are more helpful ☹️

If your flights have been cancelled you should put in a claim on your travel insurance for non refundable expenses caused by the cancellation of your flights.

Thank you.
When contacting our insurance do we just given them all the different places we require a refund from (more than one place) or does each place need to be claimed individually?
Does that make sense 🙈 sorry, we have never had to claim on any insurance for anything. Its all new and a bit overwhelming.

Sorry, thats a lie. We did claim in tillys pet insurance but the vets sorted everything for us. So we personally have never dealt with a claim

You will need to look at your insurance companies claim form to see how they lay it out, and if you have any questions about making a claim you should contact them for the information.
