Pre Trip Report 2 - Lets Try This Again!

It seems years since I started this trip report with the intention of surprising DH with a week long trip for the two of us to Florida for his 50th!
2 Years later and here we are tentatively dipping our toe back into the booking pool.

We have booked flights from 31st May - 21st June and have a villa booked on Emerald Island.

31st May is actually DS's 21st birthday so he will arrive in the US legally allowed to drink for the first time!
We have also invited his girlfriend to come with us, DS only wants to come for a maximum of 2 weeks due to his work annual leave allowance so the last week will just be DH, DD and me so will most likely end up being the DH belated 50th celebration week (bless him, he had his 50th and 51st birthdays in lockdown, so we need to do something on this holiday for him.) Plus its also our 15th wedding anniversary next year so I secretly hope for some surprises of my own from mr unromantic

No secrets this time as that did NOT go well for me last time everyone knows everything, we are all arguing right now over Universal vs Disney.

DD and I want Universal, we have never been before, if I get an annual pass we can have free parking and being 3 parks and cheaper, its not as much stress to 'get our money's worth'

DS and DH want Disney again, DS because his girlfriend has never been so he thinks she would enjoy the Disney experience if she does come. DH, just likes to go to Disney, plus its closer to the villa so less driving for him as our only driver on the holiday.

I am currently procrastinating, waiting to see what the new Disney tickets are going to cost, but that damn $25 a day to park my car really irks me! We are disabled so parking at Disney springs and getting the bus is too much for us to save some dollars.

Our beautiful dog Harley is going to be holidaying with her mother for the three weeks as our breeder takes any of her puppies back for holidays etc. I think she might be a bit nervous about Harl coming back as last time she stayed, I sent them £40 of dog treats halfway through without telling them . This year i'm considering a huge box of squeaky toys as she has 5 dogs of her own, plus mine, that should be awesome for her, she'll love me!

I am going to try to keep up with this trip report and not lose my darn notes like last time
