Snacks, shopping and (fat) shorts at the end...
Hello,
I won't do a daily report because we can be a bit repetitive (Cinnabon, Cinnabon, Cinnabon). I will post random pics of snacks, shopping & key lime pie. Hoping the fat shorts don't make an unwelcome early appearance. |

Hello! So excited to see your report and your pics of key lime pie. I’m also happy to see multiple pics of Cinnabon too 😉
Safe travels and happy snacking. 💖 Michelle xx |

We had a good experience at Gatwick. Security queue was huge but it only took 20 minutes. DD had an extra check. DC had breakfast before we left - waffles and strawberries, but were a bit peckish so we headed to Pret to get some hot chocolate and pastries.
DD and I popped into accessorise and she picked a dress, sunglasses and hair bobbles. |

I didn’t take pics of the plane food. The hot lunch was fine - chicken curry or chicken and mash. The sides were awful and the little GU chocolate mousse has been replaced with a strawberry thing nobody ate.
The wraps later were awful, we purchased our own food anyway. But really BA need to try harder. No kits kats either. They need to improve the Children’s meals in particular. A babybel, hummus and breadsticks would be so simple but a huge improvement. I had a gin and tonic and a glass of Sauvignon which was good. I did a publix dash yesterday and so DH and DC had doughnuts and coco puffs this morning. We decided to have a pool day due to lack of sleep so popped up Publix and Target to get supplies for the week. Fruit was cheaper in target, big bags of apples and oranges $5 each. Cashew trail mix $6.50 (this is amazing). Ghiredelli $5.50 Publix : Huge Watermelon (for the dirty dancing quote) $5 Strawberries $4 Cheetos $3.50 Goldfish crackers $2.70 Cheese slices $ 12 cinnamon bagels $6 We spent $130 in publix and $65 on target and have enough breakfast items for at least a week, 3 lunches and 2 dinners plus lots of snacks, huge bottle of wine and bud lights. There were quite a lot of offers so totally doable if on a budget. Love to get one of these if luggage room: And DS got these markers (He loves drawing) $17. Small tragic note- no small key lime pies, will pop back later this week 😊 Absolutely roasting so off for a dip 🌞 Edited at 04:40 PM. |

Plane food is generally terrible 😬 I agree it just shouldn’t be that hard!
Glad to hear you arrived safely and yay for your grocery hauls! Enjoy your pool day and all your yummy snacks. Xx |
