Seaworld !

11/05/11
Woke up this morning at 7.00am, left hotel at 8.30am & caught the No.8 Lynx bus to Seaworld by 8.55am.

We met this little feline buddy:
[IMG][/IMG]

Then went staright onto Mantra
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]

and had a little nosey in the underwater viewing area
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]

We then went on Kracken, which was excellent ! before going over to the very smelly area where the otters & sea lions lived where we bought some fish to feed them..stinky but great fun!

We then went through the tunnel at the underwater shark encounter where we took afew more pictures & booked lunch at the Underwater Sharks Grill for later on that day.
[IMG][/IMG]

There is afew outdoor tanks where you can buy some small fish to feed the sharks with .. which we did .. great again ! we noticed a small child's sandal had somehow gotten into the sharks pool, however staff were at hand and quickly got it out, before the sharks ate it...then afew moments later...plop..the other sandal is thrown in ! Oh dear, does this child have no fear ? (We secretly found it funny, but the parent was seriously annoyed and embarrassed)
No photos of this part of the day - only afew video's

We then walked over to the Shammu Stadium where we watched the One Ocean show ... WOW ! I took alot of video footage of this as i knew i would not be able to explain how amazing it was when we got home..It is simply incredible! We sat in the Splash Zone, but didn't even get a drop on us - (which in hindsight was great as that water really stank)

We then had lunch at the Underwater Sharks Grill, as previously booked, This was very nice, however I found myself letting my food get cold as I was too busy watching the sharks swim past us !

[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]

We had a 2nd attempt of going on the Journey To Atlantis ride however it was still closed due to technical problems

We then thought we'd go over to see the killer whales via the underwater viewing area, but this was closed due to a refurbishment

So we made our way towards to the exit of the park, where we watched the dolphins in the training tank for a little while, before calling it a day!

[IMG][/IMG]

Had to have a photo with this little fella!:
[IMG][/IMG]

As we had done everything we wanted, we left the park at this point and went back to hotel and had a nap. Later on we walked along some of I'Drive where we did some shopping for last minute gifts

Upon getting back to the hotel, we packed our cases..
SAD FACES:
[IMG][/IMG]

[IMG][/IMG]

To cheer us up, we went to Happy Hour at the hotel bar - we were going to order take away food after we had a quick drink, however we saw Andy and Gemma (it was their last evening too), we got chatting for afew hours, had afew drinks etc..good night, great company..Is that the time ? Ooops!

We were very hungry at this point so tried to order food once we were ready to leave the bar, but too late ..Doh !
Pizza Hut = MASSIVE QUEUE, So Dominoes it was:
Steve = ordered a Large Peperoni Pizza (which he got)
Me = Ordered a Chicken & Bacon Sandwich with NO CHEESE (What i got was a Chicken & Cheese Sandwich with NO BACON ! )
This error wasn't realised until we had got back to our hotel at it was around 12.00pm, so not alot we could do to sort it out (too tired)! Doh!
I polished off some Pringle's instead and promised myself a full breakfast to make up for it in the morning...

It does smell yeah but I wouldn't have missed out just because of that. Buy a throwaway poncho for £1/2 to wear incase you get wet, then throw it away after. There are sellers in the stadium offering macs but they are expensive as there's no guarantee you will gt wet
