I bought the Kindle Touch from Target in February- I went to the one on Posner Park on US27. They had a display of the Kindles and the staff were very helpful. I paid $105 and got a $10 gift card- the Touch goes on sale in the UK later this month for £105.

No they were waiting for the display model to come into store. Let me have a look at the box though and I had seen it on Amazon anyway. Might be in there store in 2 weeks time though. Have a great holiday.

I have read that when trying to use the Kindle Fire once in the UK you are limited with applications,downloads etc,has anyone found this? I am still trying ti decide whther to go for a Kindle or Kobo Vox.

there was a thread a while ago that somoene posted a link to someones instructions details about how to get apps on it etc, sounded a bit techy but was doable, need to find that link again. I remember thinking it was very useful for when/if i get one.
