Mobile Can you add guests to Disney booking?

Hi all,

Thinking of booking CBR for Summer '21 when (if) free dining becomes available but we're not 100% sure we're going yet.

Want to pay the lowest deposit possible so if I cancel I won't lose out on too much.

So, thinking of booking just one person initially and then adding on the others at a later time.

Will this be ok?

TIA x

Yes, I’ve done this for my trip this year. There’s still only me on the booking.
Main reason was in case we had to change the booking in some way or cancel. If the cost of the booking was going to go down (or stay the same), Disney charge a £50 amendment fee. If I need to do that I’d add on more people and their ticket prices would increase the overall price, meaning no amendment fee.

I've done this a couple of times with no issues .. you then just pay the deposits for the extra people when you add them

It will probably depend on who you booked with. Some companies will be helpful, others less so.

Very common to book using one person. Also very common to over book your dates if your not exactly sure when your flights maybe, ie book 17 days for a 14 day holiday.
They you can modify your dates and people in the room until much nearer arrival time.

one word of caution though

you can add people to a booking, as long as you don't exceed room occupancy

if there are between 2 and 4 of you, then no issue (unless you book a king room)

but with 5, make sure the resort you book at has rooms accomodating 5 people, and if all of the guests are over 10 there
might be an issue

Remember your Quidco.
We booked and got £150 Quidco, which has already been put in my bank. We only paid a £50 deposit and it looks like we will be cancelling the stay.

I wanted to ask about this- I did mine with top cash back and I too will be cancelling the booking (boo) and losing my £50 deposit. I haven’t yet transferred from Quidco into my bank in case they withdraw it once I cancel the booking. Will it be affected at all or can I just keep the £117?!
