my day at Disney... [insert YOUR best Disney day]
So, given it should be around 70 days to our perfectly planned (but cancelled) trip I’ve been thinking about my perfect Disney day & curious about other people’s...
Think I’ll start out by EMH at MK - get all those fantasyland headliners introduced to my two toddlers for the first time, followed by a Gastons cinnamon bun (w extra frosting). I’d have already got a Starbucks on the way in... Full of lots of photos with my two with the characters & beautiful castle. Stay long enough to soak up the magic then enjoy some pool/sunbathing time (whilst The kids nap ) Then off to Epcot in the evening to eat round the world & enjoy a grey goose slushy from France whilst the sun sets. <3 god I miss Disney!

Always AK for us first day. We get excited just walking in. Straight to the safari for a good view of the animals. Then over to pandora for FOP. Mickey pretzel with warm cheese as a snack. At least 2 rides on everest. Then a late lunch at yak and yeti. Over to dinosaur... I still scream on this! Lastly a wander round the trails to look at the bats etc. Head back to the villa for a swim, get changed and head off to longhorn.

Has to be MK every time for our first day and being grateful that we can visit this incredible place. Walking up Main Street with an incredible feeling of euphoria. Taking in the beautiful sight that is Main Street and the castle. We normally head through Tomorrowland and over to Gaston’s Tavern for the cinnamon bun for breakfast 😋. Then our first fast pass opens which is usually Splash Mountain followed by BTM and then 7DMT. A trip to Cosmic Rays for lunch (always Cosmic Rays 👌🏼. Later in the day a stop off at the Plaza I’ve Cream Parlour for an ice cream cookie sandwich which we devour between us. A nosey around the shops for merch and then usually DD will get a double choc chip Frappuccino on our way out of the park along with a Krispy Mickey treat for the evening. Bus over to HS (again always HS) finally ending up in Disney Springs later on in the evening with a trip to Sephora and World of Disney.
Perfect day ❤️ |

Day starts with Brekkie in the food court at POR. Then bus to MK. Picture of us all with Castle in the background. Round to Buzz, Space Mountain, Speedway and then the Carousel. Lunch at BOG then Peter Pan, Haunted Mansion, Thunder and Splash Mountain. POTC then round to Casey's for a Hot Dog and a cold drink, meander down main st and back to POR for a beer in the heat.

For us the perfect Disney day is the day we arrive and check in at DME. Then the moment when we pass under the WaltDisneyWorld arch en route to our resort. A big sigh of satisfaction and we both smile at each other. We're 'Home'. We're back in the Disney bubble. Everything is right with the world. Well for the next 2 weeks anyhow. 👌

Magic Kingdom every time 🤗
I can still recall the smells of popcorn and cotton candy as we walked down Main Street , USA . And there it was at the end of the street - Cinderella Castle and Mickey and the rest of the gang . 🤗 |
