Anyone made crabapple jelly?
Loads of windfalls this year so I thought I would have a go at making crabapple jelly. Two recipes say to boil the prepared fruit for 30ish minutes. A third recipe said to boil for 2 to 3 hours. A bit of a difference 😙
The apples are soft but not a pulp which is what I am supposed to strain through the muslin. If you have made this before, how long did it take for the apples to go mushy? |
