Thank you

Thank you
If you search on google for dvc point sample agreement that’s the one I used as a template to write my own.

If accepting payment by PayPal, how do I ensure the payment comes through in $$$? (apart from asking my renter to pay in dollars?)

I've just completed two (small) rentals and asked both to pay in dollars, but the payments are showing up in my PayPal account in ££. The first time, I just thought the renter had made a mistake, but now the second one is the same, so I wonder if I need to change something in my PayPal settings?

So far, these are only small amounts so it's not a huge deal to me as I would probably end up converting to ££ somewhere along the line, but I'd prefer to have the option to choose if / when I do this.

TIA

The renter needs to choose the option to pay in $$$. PayPal automatically converts to the recipient currency.

Just having a little rant here ;-) ...

Over the last two to three weeks I've been responding to people posting on the FB page looking for points, and I've advertised a confirmed rental. I have managed to rent out two separate one night contracts to US renters (and am very happy with the process). However, I have also had sooooo many responses from people who seem really interested and keen to proceed but then just go dead on me and never follow through. A couple of them have come back with explanations why it wouldn't work for them, and I understand that, but I don't understand the silent treatment :-(

Is this just how it goes, or have I been unlucky? Or maybe I'm putting them off somehow?

There can be a lot of back and forward. Very specific requirements, you put all the time in to give them the best options and then it's more umming and ahhhing. Sort of annoying but all our were gone in a few days.

Just glad we managed to get a decent payout on our points.

I think to rent mine I took about 20-25 queries, there are a lot of time wasters or indecisive people out there.
