Cotswolds water park

We had a weekend away here with friends this weekend and it was just lovely. The weather was complete rubbish and it rained pretty much non stop but we'd packed our waterproofs and it didn't stop us getting out and about for walks / runs.

It would have been nice to have got out on the water in the canoes / SUPs or hire a bike which they have available.

Thoroughly recommended. We had a cottage Air B&B which was just lovely, 3 bedrooms, log burner & stunning views.

DS stayed here over August bank holiday. His second trip. He said that it’s lovely there.

Went there quite some years ago. Quite like the idea of staying at the de vere spa hotel there. I can get good discounts through work for that hotel.

Can you post up the cottage details you stayed out. Sounds nice.

We've just booked a couple of nights in the Cotswolds through Travelzoo for December and I saw the lakes whilst looking at Google maps. I had no idea they were there! We'll visit them either on the way there or on the way home.

We're staying just outside Cirencester - any tips on places to go and to eat gratefully received!
