Suntrust app now on UK app store.

Thank you to Hal for posting about the app, I'd forgotten about it after failing to download it years ago. Went to look for it last night and found it on the UK app store.

Easy download with registered email address authentication code. So much easier having that quick view through the phone.

Yes, that's great news but was hoping this app might sort out a problem we've continually had with the normal Suntrust web-site.

When we select Extenal Transfers or Send Money with Zella we've always received a message stating 'This service is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later'

We never been able to use this service on the main Sutrust web site so was hoping this might change with the ipad app.

Unfortunately it hasn't and when selecting Send Money with Zella a box appears with a Notice stating The SunTrust Mobie Bankinlg service is currently unavailable. Please try again.

Has anyone else had a similar experience?

But if you can access the Send Money with Zella on either the main Suntrust web site or the app how did you set it up, any help with be appreciated?

I can’t help I’m afraid, never heard of Zella. We’ve always used XE & recently moved to Revolut, both of which work very easily & quickly.

Did you previously use the Zelle app? I've just had to re-register for Zelle with the Suntrust (now Truist) app and have the same issue with the banking app being periodically temporarily unavailable and to make matters worse, they are trying to authenticate my Zelle by sending me a code to our old house number that we haven't had for years, despite me deleting it off of our account.

I have to call them on Monday 🙄

Thought that it might be because we're UK residents, anyway when we tried the Ipad app this week we're still receving a message that it's unavailable.

Hope you can sort it out soon for yourself and did you originally sign up with Zella through the Suntrust web-site?

On the drop down menu under Settings the Zella link also states service is temporarily unavailable.

Thank you, hope you can get sorted too!

Originally I went through the Zelle app and linked it to our Suntrust account but as of Feb 1st the app is defunct for us as it pushes us to the Suntrust banking app which is where the problems arise. We are still able to receive payments, we just can't send any if we need to!
