No, but i peel them and freeze them when they get too ripe great for banana bread or smoothies.

I once froze some without peeling. Boy was that a mistake.

This thread title really made me chuckle due to something my colleague said the other day.

I’m going to lower the tone now.
Apparently drs are advising people not to put cold potatoes where the sun doesn’t shine to cure piles...
How did this become a thing that Drs needed to advise against?

So my lovely new Lakeland potato bag arrived today. Very chuffed, apart from.the fact that I don't have many to put in there.

Anyway. I get it out to cries of disdain. What's that? Waste of money etc. Apparently "EVERYBODY" in the whole wide world keeps thier potatoes in the fridge.

I will be citing this thread in evidence.

No doubt I will shortly need to start a quick thread on the very very strong evidence base as to why we should have a lime cheesecake over strawberry.
