Any tips for booking Moonlight Magic

Not quite sure how the process works when the booking window opens on Wednesday for the Epcot event on the 4th May

Anything I need to know to stand a chance ?

Its DH birthday on that day and we have never been there for a DVC event before so fingers crossed we can get tickets

For the animal kingdom even on 25th February we didn’t have a resort reservation so had to book when it opened to general members and got a place no problem.
We were onsite for the magic kingdom event on the 3rd of March and it didn’t fill either for resort guests and opened to general members a weeks later.
To increase your chances you could have multiple devices ready to enter the virtual queue. I used 3 phones, 2 iPads and a laptop. Then just stuck with the one placed highest up in the queue when booking opened.

3 devices were going for us too last year. Took 45mins to finally get our booking, started at over 7000 in the queue dead on the opening time. 😯
Was definitely worth it, loved the AK at night!

Thank you everyone

I presume the booking goes live at 9am Florida time which is 1pm here ? (With only the four hour time difference at the minute)

We were late to the web-site and logged on at 1.45, at that time there were over 750 guests ahead of us, by 1.50 it had reduced to 368 and at 1.54 we were registering but noticed the following message.

Message last updated: 9:39 AM (1.39 UK)

Like a Guest’s tummy after a full day at the Food & Wine Festival, our June 29 Moonlight Magic event at Epcot has reached full capacity.

Please exit the queue if you were waiting to register for Moonlight Magic on June 29.

Please visit disneyvacationclub.com for details about other Member offerings and exclusive experiences available as part of Membership Magic.

Registrations for May 4 are still available.

Hope all Dibbers managed to register and good luck to those without a resort reservations when it opens to all Members on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at 9:00 AM Eastern Time.

And suggest if you looking for June 29th then worth getting on line before 9.00EST as that was the more popular date out of the two and was all taken up by 9.39.

Yes and you can do that at your resort front desk from 6.00pm and at Epcot's main entrance or international gateway.

But if you have theme park tickets then you can enter Epcot before 6.00pm.

I've pasted below the info from the confirmation email you should have received.

Check In:

Please remember to bring your valid Disney Vacation Club Membership Card and photo ID, as you'll need to present those upon check-in.

Entire party must check in together prior to event access.

Event check in at Epcot® Main Entrance and International Gateway will open at 6:00 PM

Event check in at the 11 Disney Vacation Club Resorts will begin at 6:00 PM.

Please note: Checking in at your Disney Vacation Club Resort Lobby is highly encouraged.

Other notes: If you wish to enter Epcot® before 6:00 PM, valid Theme Park admission is required.
