I do understand where you are coming from but we just never agree on stuff so it tends to work where I get it, he initially hates it but then comes round, when we try and do it together we go round in circles, never agree and end up not speaking, he then agrees with me to keep the peace, I know that’s what he’s doing and I feel guilty lol 😂 it’s a vicious circle, we just have totally different tastes in furnishing and decorating so this way tends to work better for us.

We do get on amazingly well in all other aspects of the marriage though!

I learnt 30+ years ago. Never get involved in colours or fabrics.

Our partnership works well. My Wife never gets involved in what plasterboard or timber I am using.

Job done.

By the way I like the sofas as well.

As an aside we have brown leather sofas and we had the cushions 'restuffed' 2 weeks ago. They were bought in 2004 and look like new still
