This is what a manager has called it. Not sure if they were trying to be funny sarcasm goes right over me.

Anyhow something else other than corona.

I went back to work after being off poorly for 3 weeks.

I have a chair that the agency bought me a few years back. This is for my back. I’m not sure why but my endometriosis affects my lower back, bum and inside legs.
This chair was messured for me and about £6-700 so not cheap.

As I am in a call centre I am on that chair a lot. People occasionally use it and mess with the settings and I have had numerous conversations with my manager about it.

For some reason the chair has completely disappeared. I have found one that looks exactly like it and broken in the same way also but apparently that’s someone else’s chair. I can’t confront them and I now have no option but to get access to work back out. They have said with the world as it is it’ll be months for a new one.

I slightly cross that my manager couldn’t have just moved it to where they have put other specialist chairs. It’s not like she’s has many people to manage, there’s only been 3 of us in the team this week.

My issue is my back is killing me. Yesterday I had to screw up my coat to put it in the small of my back just to try and feel better.

I know my work need me there if possible and more that usual if I can manage it but it’s going to really start hurting me.

Anyone know what the crack is with specialist equipment in the workplace?
