EBay

I’m planning to sort out the loft and cupboards while I’m self distancing at home.

Does anyone think people will be buying more stuff on EBay now a lot of us are spending more time at home ?

Or would people be put off buying in case the item was ‘contaminated’ ?

I'm still buying from China So ebay wouldn't bother me at all. However, I have heard bad reports about people trying to sell on ebay, well the people buying being a hassle. A few people I know have sold on the local Facebook selling sites with less hassle and easier.

I’m still selling on eBay , as long as Hermes are still doing deliveries, eBay haven’t put any notices up yet about postal issues , only thing they have changed is UK delivery on so no international delivery on certain items

Good question. I've got bags off stuff I need to sell. I'm hoping that people sitting around at home will be buying on Ebay. Only issue may be getting to a post office if a full lockdown is brought in 🤔

Oh yes I hadn’t thought of that.

Anything I need to sell I get my Son to put on some Facebook thingy he uses.

I get a text off him that X is arriving at X time and how much it went for.

Sold a TV stand a few days ago for £10. Every little helps.

Tom I can’t be bothered with time wasters from our local FB marketplace. I’ve spent hours waiting in for people who never show up, or some excuse for changing date or time too many times ! 🙄

I’m also planning on having a massive clear out. Already sorted the kids clothes so they are ready to be sold. I’ve rejoined Facebook just so I can sell stuff on the marketplace. But I’m concerned people won’t want to come round etc?
