If we're having lunch there then we spend the day in MK.

Sunshine Seasons at Epcot, Katsura Grill Japan World Showcase Epcot, Liberty Tree Inn USA World Showcase, Flame Tree BBQ Animal Kingdom, Columbia Harbour House MK, ABC Commissary HS.
Resorts etc
Contempo Cafe Contemporary, Captain Cooks Polynesian, The Mara at Animal Kingdom Lodge, All Star Music Food Court, AofA food court, Wolfgang Puck Express Disney Springs

All these places offer options for DH who doesn't eat anything with flour or tomatoes doesn't like salad or fruit but does like vegetables.

I'm not sure what you mean? You can spend the day however you please. We'd only do BoG lunch if we were spending the morning or afternoon in MK though. We wouldn't go there just for that.

There are quite a lot I like!
Flame Tree BBQ at AK.
Liberty Inn, sunshine seasons and Cantina de San Angel at Epcot.
At DHS there isn't so much choice, tend to gravitate towards ABC Commissary.
At MK I prefer Columbia Harbour House and Cosmic Rays, Pecos Bill used to be my favourite but they've totally changed the menu and removed the plastic cheese (as has everywhere )
At Disney Springs Wolfgang Puck Express at Marketplace is an amazing use of a Quick Service credit as others have suggested... looking forward to trying new things such as Blaze Pizza and D-Luxe Burger at Disney Springs, I've seen good reviews for both!
