Arrow 'At the gate' Admission prices

Guys,

I am trying to work out if a 14 day ultimate ticket (for price of 7 days) is the best value for our needs, but can't seem to find anywhere the cost of park tickets at the gate - i.e. turn up and pay on the day.
We will probably go to Magic K, Animal K, Epcot and Typhoon lagoon (as blizzaed beach is closed all of november ), so not sure if the flex ticket at £232 pp is worth it, or whether it would actually be cheaper just to turn up and pay on the day for two adults and one child.
Any advice will be grately recieved.

Thanks,

David

Definitely not cheaper to just turn up unless you are doing two days without hopping only. Cant remember exact prices but worked out anything more than two single days , you may as well get the ultimate.
Oh and welcome to the dibb

The prices are on the disneyworld website , make sure you look at USA website . They are MYW tickets from 1 to 10 days . If you don't want water parks or to hop these can work out cheaper . There are websites advestised on the dibb which do these tickets where you can pay in £s . You can buy the also at the Disney outlet stores and I think (not sure) at DTD , which is usually better than queingoutside the park . The 7 day MYW works out at around £175 (adult no hop - no water park ) 10 day is around £190 . You can add waterparks , hopping & even non-expiring options for extra.

The "at the gate" ticket prices can be found on the Disneyworld site.

Single day adult admission to the main parks is $90 (including tax) - that doesn't include park hopping and the waterparks. Single day admission to a waterpark is $52.

So, if you want to go to MK, Epcot, AK and TL, are not bothered about hopping and just pay at the gate for each day it will cost you about $322 for an adult. Or about £209 - so it is a little cheaper than an Ultimate ticket. If you buy a 3-day MYW Base ticket for those 3 days at MK, Epcot, AK plus pay at the gate at TL then it'll be slightly cheaper at $299 (£195).

Or, better yet, you could buy an adult 3 day (+1 day free) MYW Magic Plus ticket from Orlando Attractions for $294 (~£191). This will give you 4 days at the main parks and 4 visits to Typhoon Lagoon or DisneyQuest. And it's about £30 cheaper than a 2011 Ultimate ticket.

Definitely not cheaper to just turn up unless you are doing two days without hopping only. Cant remember exact prices but worked out anything more than two single days , you may as well get the ultimate.
This is only true if you're buying MYW tickets with the Park Hopper and Waterparks option. If you only want one of those additional options then MYW tickets are cheaper than Ultimates if you want to do 5 days or less. If you don't want any additional options - just the Base ticket - then a 10 day MYW ticket is cheaper than the Ultimate tickets.
