Booking Trex

Trex was the only ADR I was unable to get for our stay in August. I read somewhere that they don't release all their tables to Disney and you have to book directly through them, but do you have to phone to do this? I can't see anywhere to book on their website.

We will have a Landry's card, do we even need to worry about booking? We will want peak time (6/7pm) on a Saturday evening.

I wouldn't worry if you have their card. You will have a very small wait at the most.

we used Landrys card last year - there was a huge queue outside with ADRs trying to get seated around 9pm ...we just walked up to the podium, showed our card and were seated immediately. Was a good choice for our arrivals day as we didn't know what time we would get out for dinner.

Definitely get a Landrys card. It was great we were seated almost straight away without a reservation at Easter. You get points too and a birthdasy gift of $25 every year.

What happens if you are on the DDP? I have made an ADR but not for the time I wanted. Can I use my Landrys card to get seated quickly and then pay with DDP?

Yes, you can use a landry's card and DDP credits. Just be aware that the card itself costs $25 which is given back in credit, so if your not planning to spend any extra off the dining plan (ie alcoholic drinks, extra sides) you wont use the credit - I'm not sure if it can be used towards tips?
