Yep - I booked for my holiday earlier this year on the .co.uk site and I'm in NL. No issues, except I think paying for it I had to do over the phone (or that may have been for my VH travel).

It's too big of a difference not to go for it! If I see gbp making big turn up, i will just pay the holiday in full

I too made .co.uk booking and cancelled the booking on .ie

My refund was issued, with "we are pleased to hear that you are still visiting WDW" and I have new booking in GBP! Supper happy about that.

I still haven't heard back from the email I sent last week, hopefully I will soon

It took about 3 working days, you should hear back soon. I booked new reservation before cancelling. We booked 2017 and than decided to go to California instead, and had to cancel advance reservation last year too and they cancelled pretty quickly. It took about 5 days from the day they confirmed by email for the money to be refunded.

I put the money aside in case the pound starts trending upwards, but right now it appears it was a good move. Thanks for to OP for flagging the opportunity!

No problem. Looking to book myself next week. Just have to sort out a few bits with potential travelling companions

I received confirmation of refund but no actual refund yet. Trying to get through them listening to it's a small world! Did you get your refund?

Hiya, yes I received the refund 2 days after I got the confirmation email. I've rebooked in GBP.

Ok, so the confirmation they send me was that I am due refund. I called and gave them my card details so they have now processed it fully. I should get it back in few days. I didn't realize I need to call

I had an account hacked and card changed, perhaps they had the old card on file.

Edited at 02:41 PM.

Strange! I didn't have to. The email I received just stated the booking was cancelled and I'd get my refund soon. Now to start paying off the balance before the exchange rate changes...
