Bubble newbies best seats for five
As the title said I am able to book seats on Tuesday for flight and have never flown the bubble. Which seats would you chooses for family of five? Window and middle or aisle and middle seat with a row of three?

Depends on ages, you don't say if you have young children, that would make a difference.
We flew with two teens and booked Row 80 for us( with a stranger on aisle next to me) and row 79 in front for DDs, so we had 2 window seats. We have also done us inRow 80 and DDs in Row 79 on opposite side next to window( although eldest was 19, so classed as adult) If there are 5 of you, I would be inclined to get Row 79 window to aisle and then 2 on the other side aisle and middle. Quite often, the configuration may not be available anyway, so get I there quick to get your first choices.

Have a look at 2 of the exit row seats, plus the row behind. That's what we do (albeit only 1 of the exit row seats as there are only 4 of us) and it works really well. The problem with having 2 out of 3 seats on normal rows is that you either have to disturb whoever is sitting in the aisle seat every time you want to get up (not easy if they're asleep) or they disturb you when they want to get up if they've got the window seat. With the exit row seats you don't disturb anyone or get disturbed as you can just stand up and walk as there's about 5-6ft of space in front of you. I'd book the window and middle exit row seats if you can

Yes, they're a bit narrower as the TV and tray are in the arm. My husband doesn't find it a problem, but he's an average build (36 inch jeans).

They're fine. We always sit in them with DH in an exit row seat in front of us
