Fastpass and child swap
If I get a fastpass for my husband and 7 year old, can they then ask for the child swap when they go on the ride too so I can go on with her later?

No unless you have another child who doesn’t ride you don’t qualify. A lot of rides you can all ride together.

Sorry should have said we also have a 3 year old who can't do the 'bigger' rides that the 7 year old likes.

Yes, you need to go with them to rise start and ask for a rider switch
Get a single fast pass, go with dad, mam, 7 year old and 3 year old. Dad rides and gets a switch, the switch pass enables 3 people to ride, so you and 7 year old could ride all whilst using only one fast pass. I've read about this but never had the balls to try it myself

We went recently and the first week we were there we all rode everything together (2 adults, 2 children ages 4 and 8) ... I then got chatting to a lady in the q one day and she explained how if you utilise child swop etc and are not bothered about all four riding together then you end up doing a lot more
i.e. BMT - My husband and 8 year old had a FP, we then did a child swop which gave me a FP for 3 people - so I went on with both the boys The second week I changed most of my FP to allow this method - it meant we all got to ride a lot more on FP than we would have and for the majority the boys got to ride twice |

If you have a younger child that can't go on (or doesn't want to go on) certain rides then, yes, you can use Rider Switch.
See the following DIBB Guidebook page which tells you how to use Rider Switch and which attractions offer it (not all of them do): https://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/Rid...ce-p-1461.html

Hey that's great everyone. Thank you. Think the plan is for the 7 year old to ride twice (once with mum and once with dad cos it's a bit lonely riding on your own 😂 ) but good to know we can just use 2 fp to do that as opposed to 4.
