Going back in 2019 (August)

Whats the latest gang on the opening date for this?

Would love to see it but i feel its later in 2019.

I might be wrong but I don't think anyone knows for certain however there will be a film Episode IX on May 24th 2019 and there has been speculation that the opening date for Galaxys Edge will be at around the same time.

Episode 9 has been moved to Dec 19.

Rumours based on planning permits are saying October 19 for opening but no one really knows yet.

I really hope so - we're planning late October/early Nov 2019 for DDs 18th birthday and would be sooo happy if it was open then. I know it will make the park really busy though!

Also Disneylands version will probably be open a few months before WDWs version according to some websites.

This. While they haven't set a specific time frame, they've already stated that California will open first with Orlando to follow "later in the year".

I suspect they're working to May/October opening goals respectively, but no idea whether they'll hit them as there's already been delays. They won't announce official opening dates until probably early 2019. Domestic visitors often don't plan trips that far in advance, so they don't feel the need to announce things until a few months before.

I wouldn't plan on the HS version being open in August if it were me.
