We always ride together the first ride then do single rider for repeat rides. Sometimes it works out brilliantly. On Test Track if there is two of you, you often end up in the same car just on different rows with a family of four. Everest is good too as hardly ever much of a queue.

We will use it in Test Track and Everest to achieve multiple rides but I prefer to ride together.

We used single rider quite alot and it saved loads of time. Often (not always) we got to ride together anyway 😁

DD and I rode Rock and Rollercoater 9 times in 2 hours on one trip to DHS in 2016, all but 1 ride we were in the same vehicle, and both got to ride in the front row at least once.

Most rides you’re concentrating on the ride not looking at the person sitting next to you anyway.

Perfect. I think we'll go together the first times (first time in a theme park for him and I'd say the first time actually going on a rollecoaster), and then when we want to go on again we'll do single rider

Just to say - as I don't think it is clear from the thread, that there are very few rides which have single rider so most of the time this won't even be an issue

I only find that Single Rider works well when the ride has an odd number of seats together. Therefore this works well on Test Track as you are seated in 3's and there are a lot of groups of 2. However for rides like Harry Potter & The forbidden Journey where you are seated in 4's, this tends to take longer to get on the ride, and its best just to ride with your party.
