Anna and Elsa Quick look at Queue Times
At the moment one of the most popular attractions at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World is undoubtedly "Meet Anna and Elsa at Princess Fairytale Hall". So if your children are tugging at your strings and persuading you to get in the queue or you are are just a big kid yourself and desperately want to meet Anna and Elsa what should you expect the wait times to be like?
Not long ago you would have been greeted with a 3 hour wait first thing in the morning and this would have risen to over 5 hours at the peak time during the day, such is the popularity of these 'Frozen' characters. Now that the meet and greet has been active for awhile I thought it would be good to have a good look at the wait times Looking at the last 7 days as a sample you will still find the posted wait time, first thing in the morning, to be in the region of 2+ hours. However the actual wait time experienced by guests is more like 80-90 minutes. Disney may be exaggerating the posted wait time first thing to try and deflect some of the crowds to other areas of the park, thereby spreading the load. The best time to get in the queue to experience the shortest wait is the last hour of park opening. From our samples we can see that the average wait time has now dropped to a somewhat manageable one and a half hours, with a peak time of around two hours. Towards the last hour or two of park opening the queue times seem to be 30 - 50 minutes. What are your thoughts on the current queue times? Have you been to see Anna and Elsa at Fairytale Hall? If so how was the queue for you? here are the Wait time graphs for the last 7 days.

We visited about 2 weeks ago. arrived at MK for rope drop and headed straight for fairytale hall through the middle of the castle. CM's were directing people around the carousel at which point the throng of people split in 2. less than half headed for Anna and Elsa, the rest went to the mine train.
Wait time was displayed as 90 mins but when we asked we were told about 25 really. We were in with the princesses no more than 15 mins later. |

We saw them twice this week with fast passes and both times standby was 90 minutes but it seemed to be moving fairly quickly. With our fastpasses we went straight in to see elsa and Anna and they spent at least 10 minutes with us between them whereas space mountain the advertised wait was 85 minutes and we queued for 35 minutes with a fastpass

Re: Anna and Elsa Quick Look at Queue Times
As I understand it, it is typical to post a longer wait time than the actual wait time. It is for psychological reasons. It makes one think one is actually making better time than one actually is.

Still very popular, we have a fast pass for it, although not at the time I would have liked but still glad we have done it 😊

we were there in the 1st week of September and the board showed 75 minutes wait time. We joined the queue and it took 20 minutes to have photo's and be out the other side. Just looking at the queue we could see it would never be 75 minutes. We only did it to escape from the heat for a while.
