Accident last week M25

There was a big accident on The M25 in Surrey last Thursday we just found out the Cab diver was our friend, he wasn’t hurt but he thought it was all over for him. The Lorry driver is in hospital, the other car driver was also unhurt. I talked about not having friends on another thread, well he was one of the only ones we still see, my dh grew up with him!

Oh no, how awful for your friend. I travel on the m25 4x a week and my dh does 5x a week and I always worry for our safety, as I know we are both careful drivers but we have no control over others driving.
I hope he isn’t too badly injured and isn’t too scared by it.

Oh my goodness, what a horrible situation for him. Even though he’s ok physically, I bet he’s quite shocked.

I know precisely the accident you are talking about as thankfully I managed to avoid being impacted by it as I religiously check Google Maps before leaving for work every day.

I think we saw the tail back for that as we came home from Gatwick. Unusual for the lorry driver to be the only one injured. Glad it wasn't worse.

Glad he's okay and fingers crossed the lorry driver will make a full recovery. People moan about the M25 being a dangerous motorway but compared to the i4 it doesn't come close.

From what I saw of the I4 it didn't move enough for many accidents. It seemed to be permanently crawling.

My daughter showed me a pic of him last week, I thought oh he’s broken down and his dd has put it on Instagram. I Wasn’t paying attention and found out it was him walking up the M25 with the Articulated Lorry behind him.

I live in Surrey & am on the m25 x5 a week & there are so many crazy & dangerous drivers!
