If you book a restaurant for 2 people can you then just cancel 1 person ?

I'll be travelling out in Aug to see DD who will be a cast member by then. I want to make meal reservations for both of us, but as she doesn't yet know what her shift patterns will be, she may not be able to make some of them.

Is it possible to amend the booking from 2 to 1 person on MDE or will I just need to tell them that I'm on my own when I arrive there, if that's the case will I get charged the $10 cancellation charge for her? Thanks,.

It's fine to just tell them when you arrive. You only pay the $10 if none of your party turns up - it's a 'no show' fee.

When it was just my daughter and I last year we found it easier sometimes to book an ADR for 4 people rather than 2. When we arrived for our meal we just explained that there was just the two of us. Never had any problems.
