Just check for any differences in driving regulations as they vary by province. My sister lives in Ottawa and when we first went over to visit you could turn right on red in Ontario but just over the river in Quebec you couldn't. That's now changed and you can turn right on red in Quebec (after coming to complete stop of course and not where signs say otherwise), but not on the Island of Montreal where it remains illegal.
