Cats: The Movie Musical ...

express/entertainm...e-Lloyd-Webber

This looks interesting, I was never a fan of it in the past but I love the orchestrations and songs here. Another soundtrack for the collection.

Loved the stage show and by all accounts this film version has a plethora of stars lined up.

As an aside loved Starlight Express too, which from memory was on around the same time

Oh wow that looks amazing. Loved the stage show - I don’t often go to the cinema but will definitely be going to see this.

The cats look totally bizarre.
The human faces look badly superimposed, they remind me of the music video for Where’s Your Head At (which must be at least 15 years old)
I thought Judi Dench was wearing a fur coat, nope, the coat is part of her body 🤢
Rebel Wilson has big bouncy boobs...don’t cats have rows of nipples?!
James Corden and Idris Elba are wearing clothes, many other cats are not.
The actors are meant to be cat sized yet they’re smaller than the cutlery on the dining table.
I don’t know why they couldn’t either 1. put the cast in costumes and makeup like they do on stage or 2. Have realistic looking CGI animals like in the Lion King remake.
I’m not alone, the Internet is full of people who think it looks super creepy!

My daughter more or less said verbatim what you've written here.
