We went to Playa Blanca but where on the other side of Marina Rubicon before you get to Papagayo. We had a 3 bedroom villa and it was lovely. The Marina Rubicon has several good restaurants and tapas places, nice shops and a small shopping centre.

We also like Cambrils near Salou, Vilamoura in Portugal and the Costa del Sol between Fuengirola & Marbella. Also been a few times to Los Alcazares near Murcia.

At the Marina Rubicon every meal was above average and 3/4 outstanding.

I have often fancied the Rubicon Palace but not at those prices! We walked almost as far as the Rubicon Palace in October - it's quite far out isn't it? The good thing about the Sandos Papagayo is its location to the lovely marina - still a 20 minute walk but a nice one. I would say that upgrading to Royal Elite is worth it but don't worry if you haven't upgraded, it's still nice

Can I ask - was it you that stayed in the Rosen Plaza earlier this year? I recall a Welsh Dibber being there but I can't quite remember who.
Sort only just seen your reply
We stayed there in October 2017 it’s lovely

The landscapes in Lanzarote are stunning, we spend a fair bit of time driving around and some views just make you feel like you're on another planet!

I have visited Lanzerote, Gran Canaria, Teneriefe and Furtherthantruro.

For me, it must be Teneriefe. It is big enough and has sufficient, varied attractions that I can justify a 2 week vacation, whilst not being beach bound. (I never travel for less than a fortnight). As a location within the Island, then it would be Adeje.
Attractions...
Teide, Los Gigantes, Round the Island, Loro Paque, Siam Park, Whale cruise, Playa Americas, Los Christianos.
