I am absolutely LOVING your report! I remember seeing pictures of Charlotte and Marceline on Jo or Brett’s instagram. She looks like she’s having the best time. I’ve just binge read your first days. We are taking our 2 year old for the first time in October, he will have just turned 2. I hope he’s as good as Charlotte! Any tips gratefully received! Lizzie x

If only we had waterproof shoes we would have been OK! Haha. Yes we were happy to have our normal cheery little girl back too! X

Our visit to AK last May was a very rainy day too and we were wet right through to our underwear but we solderied on as it was our only day there and even watched River of Lights with our ponchos on in the rain.
Yeah, I'm so glad she was in a better mood!

Oh gosh, you did better than us then! That's serious dedication! Haha x

I was thinking back, and despite all our trips I don't think we've ever had such a day of full on rain so I was just ill prepared! I'll definitely steal that tip and stick some flip flops in from now on! X

Thanks so much! We were thinking that a wet day at Disney is better than a dry day anywhere else!

Your little girl looks adorable.
I'm definitely going to take that tip and always have flip flops from now on!
Thanks so much, she is (most of the time haha) x

Glad you got a couple of wines to help with the foot pain. On a holiday where you do so much walking it is NOT fun to have sore feet so I hope they didn’t bother you too much after wards too.

Boma always gets such good reviews, would love to try it. Have you done Tusker House before - if so, how does it compare food wise?

A wet safari is not a fun safari - we found that out too with the sideways wind, grim xx
So many people are saying the same thing about day 3, I never really noticed it before but will definitely be planning for it in the future!

That's what I was thinking you know, if I get blisters I'm going to struggle every day! Luckily thanks to the emergency flip flops they were fine by the next day!

Yes we've done both. Tusker House for breakfast, and both for lunch/dinner. The food is pretty similar. I would say there's more choice at Boma though.

Eek, not fun xx

I love how Charlotte always falls asleep on entering a park... it's a tradition! Great it allows you some time to have a look round and have a drink in peace!

$13.99 for a pair of socks... ouch! Only in Disney!
Haha really? It's normally hotter than the surface of the sun when we've been there

I know, so funny. It will be nice when she's older for her to actually experience the entrances!

I know right
