Mobile Animal Kingdom Lodge or Coronado Springs Tower

Hi, which resort is better for a couple to stay at (with no kids)? We won’t have a car on site so will use the Disney buses - are they good from these resorts as well?

Thank you in advance!

There are no formal review for the tower at CSR yet as it’s not been open long enough but I would say it depends how much time you want to spend at the resort and what you want to do if you do hang around the resort. CSR is also significantly cheaper, even if upgrading the dining plan. CSR now has a few lounges and several restaurants so there’s that.

It might depend on whether you want to see animals out of your window or theme parks.

I don’t mind either way really, would just like somewhere that is convenient and has easy transport to the parks. I am not sure if AKL warrants the extra cost although it does look amazing and has good dining options (will have the dining plan). Thanks

With the exception of AK, transport to all the other theme parks is longer from AKL

Personally I wouldn't bother with AKL unless it was a savannah view room which sends the price skywards. I wouldn't like the idea of staying at a hotel with a unique selling point or great view and not recieving the "full" experience. I understand if this wouldn't bother you however.

For a couple on average the general vibe of the tower seems more appropriate but it's hard to say without knowing you.

TimTracker posted an excellent tour of the tower including a night in one of the rooms on Youtube that would settle things for you I imagine.

Totally depends on your preferences and what you want in a hotel. AKL always wins hands down for us as we love it's feel and theming and uniqueness. CSR tower looks lovely, just not for us as we like the Disney 'vibe' that AKL has. Don't think you would be disappointed with either, just go with what your heart is telling you 😊
