Three - Pay and go sim card - advice

Well I bought a PAYG sim online, and I've topped it up for £15. I have data / calls etc, but in the app on the 'use abroad' page it says there is a problem, so I wanted to login and see if I needed to fix anything. I had an issue once before where international roaming was switched off.

I'm sorry, I can't help nor advise Bev as I've never had to do that.

I went to New York last week and just bought two * £15 PAYG SIMs (one for me and one for my daughter). We just popped them into our phones at LHR and that was it.

I've never installed a 3 app nor registered in any way in the 5 or 6 times I've done this with 3 SIMs.

I bought some in Newry for our trip last may and bought top up but didn't install or top up the phone until we were in Belgium. Took around 7 mintues.

Like bozza I never went near the site just topped up for £15 using the top up I bought with the sim.

Only need an account if you wish to actively manage the card, no need otherwise.

App can be useful if for some reason your phone does not set up the APN settings automatically from the aim card. Doesn't happen very often these days but can.
