We stayed at 192 this year so haven’t done I drive in a long time.

But bahama breeze was good this year. I expect most chains will be similar.
Loved millers. Zingers 🤤
Also loved manny chop house.

We are going in May too. Cannot wait

Oh and hated Denny’s. Was disgusting and we went twice, everyone but me liked it the first time. Also bad service but that may just be the 192 location.

We like the bourbon chicken at Florida mall too. Always have that. Surprised it’s still tasted the same for last 14 years.

We have only been off site once before and this time I want to go with a little list of places to eat.

We don't like fine dining, we love the idea of some American classic chains perhaps a buffet for one of the evenings.

Here is the list I have put together;

(1) Millers Ale House
(2) Longhorn Steak House
(3) Olive Garden
(4) Chilli's
(5) Ci Ci' Pizza
(6) Panda Express
(7) Denny's
(8) Wendy's
(9) iHOP
(10) Maggiano's
(11) B.B. Kings Blues Club
(12) Bahama Breeze
(13) Tony Roma's
(14) Golden Corral
(15) Chuys

What I'm hoping for is perhaps each of you could pick your top 3 from the list, then pick 2 to drop from the list, essentially giving us a few top choices and a few to stay clear of.

Also please feel free to mention any that we have missed that might suit us.

Oh and I have some places in here that are aimed at Breakfast like iHop but any comments about those ones would be great too.

Thanks folks.
We like Olive Garden and Bahama Breeze for dinner. Wendy's has lots of good options for a quick lunch. IHOP is good for breakfast.

I would drop Golden Corral.
Food not great quality. We had negative experiences with a few locations , but it was years ago.

Yes, our experiences with Cracker Barrel is that the food was very greasy and salty. Not many lighter options. Very traditional "southern" American vibe, if you like that. Kids enjoyed having a nosy in their gift shop, but we didn't buy anything.

We've liked BB, but we've always ordered fish (fish tacos, coconut shrimp), the lighter appetizers, salads, and mixed drinks. Perhaps experience depends on what is ordered? If you go, order the Key Lime Pie: it's wonderful!

Such awesome feedback here for these hot spots, thanks to all of you for taking the time to give us a hand.

So we started with this list, I have removed the breakfast places, because we will probably try all three from Wendy's, Denny's and iHop

(1) Millers Ale House
(2) Longhorn Steak House
(3) Olive Garden
(4) Chilli's
(5) Ci Ci' Pizza
(6) Panda Express
(10) Maggiano's
(11) B.B. Kings Blues Club
(12) Bahama Breeze
(13) Tony Roma's
(14) Golden Corral
(15) Chuys

We have checked out so many menus and read your reviews and decided to drop;

(3) Olive Garden
(5) Ci Ci' Pizza
(10) Maggiano's
(11) B.B. Kings Blues Club
(13) Tony Roma's
(14) Golden Corral
(15) Chuys

We then decided to add;

(16) Yard House
(17) Hash House a Go Go
(18) Cafe Tu Tu Tango

Making our final list of shortlisted places that we will try and get to while staying at Pointe for a week are;

(1) Millers Ale House - First night, straight across the road!
(2) Longhorn Steak House - To put the steak craving at bay
(4) Chilli's - TexMex is our favourite cuisine!
(6) Panda Express - Will probably go here at CityWalk on the way home from US
(12) Bahama Breeze - It seemed to split opinion but we are hoping for a nice experience
(16) Yard House - Awesome suggestion, we love the look of this!
(17) Hash House a Go Go - NY Times favourite, who can argue!
(18) Cafe Tu Tu Tango - Awesome tapas style, it looks great!

Thanks again everyone

You missed off Red Lobster just past the convention center ...cheddar biscuits and lobster Bisque is out of this world

I would choose:

Longhorns->Flo's fillet
Dennys-> Anything!
Panda ->Orange chicken

Millers for us was a bit salty ...but thats our preference as we don't use salt at home so may have tender taste buds !
