I have just looked at the confirmation details for my April 2020 brunch booking and it clearly states 2TS. I have also looked more generically and that also states that brunch is 2TS as per below?

Is this perhaps because it is a special Mother’s Day menu? Very confusing!

I’d usually say it’s just because the restaurant list for 2020 isn’t confirmed and it’ll be included but there’s others here with 2020 bookings showing its accepted. So confusing

I know , that’s what I checked when I made the reservation but both the e.mails I had... the original and then a 2nd because I amended the time slightly both state no DDP ... Annoyingly confusing .
Hopefully my e,mails are just a system glitch

Yes I guess it’s very possible Mother’s Day is exempt would make sense.
Might cancel and see if I can book it for our October trip instead as paying out of pocket is just abit much ,

For sashimi, I would start with a darker fish, so tuna or salmon rather than say a kingfish which is often served at Disney. Both salmon and tuna are easier to get used to than the white fish (I found, although I like all now). I tend to find salmon better than tuna, the tuna can vary more on quality in that it can be superb or so-so, salmon nearly always good.

DH and I have all the sushi making stuff, he is the sushi chef and I do the sauces, we have one that we love that we make with crayfish so we always pick something like that when we see it, which would be a cooked dish.
This is so helpful, thank you. I have always avoided it as I have assumed it was always raw - obviously I see that’s very wrong now!

Since it’s on offer anyway and now I have some knowledge what I’m looking for I’ll have a go.

I do love crab and lobster so hopefully the California Roll it offered would be a good start

ps - I managed one oyster at a different brunch - just to say I've had one .
You are very brave MrsBC... I definitely couldn’t do oysters. It reminds me of some celebrity jungle challenge

I do love shrimp so will add that on to the California Roll since you and Claudette have mentioned the Shrimp Tempura being a good place to start.

I’d give Disney a ring first before cancelling in case it’s a mistake

I think you are right they aren’t accepting dining plan on Mother’s Day. I have just done a test booking for Mother’s Day, May 10th.

I didn’t keep the email for my own booking so I have compared the confirmation in my plans for my booking on 26/4 and on Mother’s Day 10/5. Mine says Select dining plans accepted” the one on mother day says “Select dining plans not accepted”.
