Mine is ok, I used my driving licence to verify. Five minutes later got a pop up on phone saying thanks for verifying identity.

I sent my pictures in about 4 hours ago and nothing yet. I really wanted to get some dollars.

I'm now thinking about if this happened in Orlando as not a lot of places use chip and pin so my card wouldn't work. What's best Starling or Monzo?
I wouldn’t touch Revolut its full of issues

We have both Starling and monzo and use both in America

Starling has the slight edge if you’re withdrawing cash as its always free whereas Monzo charge after the first £200 each month for overseas withdrawal

I do find monzo slightly more helpful on online chat but both have decenf 24/7 support .

Having said that, verifying your identity does only take about 60 seconds IF you have your DL or passport on you.

Imo the risk of revolut not working somewhere isn't really any different to any other card. It probably will fail at some point. So I always have at least 3 cards on me that i could use if needed, but 99% of $USD will go through Revolut.
Hmm it has a lot more issues .. read all the posts on their social media ( you cant start you’re own so complaints get tagged onto other posts )

I have never once had a issue using Starling & Monzo at home or in the USA where we use the cards daily for all our spends

Wonder if this is why my card would not work as contactless in Costa last week as I’d been using it no problem Xmas shopping last weekend..

ive had revolut for 5yrs, used all over usa & Europe, last time last wk & never had a problem, any card can have issues, I know of more problems with uk bank cards than revolut, most problems with revolut is down to people not having settings set correctly & these are all extra security so im happy
