Anyone else got this horrible lurgy?

I am hardly ever ill but this horrible cough, fluey type cold sore throat and absolutely no energy has hit me like a bolt from the blue!
I couldn't even finish writing my cards yesterday!

My daughter came down with this yesterday. Spent her 13th birthday asleep in bed all day☹️

Yep my two boys have it one has had it since last Saturday and although the fever has gone he’s still not good! Other son took it two days ago and has slept solid fever is hard to shift 😩

Yep, had it since Tuesday. Today is the first day I am feeling remotely human again although I am still not right.

Yep 17 days and counting, just when I feel my nose has stopped running it starts again.

I started with it on Sunday and am still not right, not like me at all. I am signed off following surgery so at least I don't have to worry about going into work.

Sue, I hope you make a full and fast recovery. I can relate to how you feel because last year I had man flu, and I didn't enjoy my costa as much as usual which was very upsetting (my wife said I just had a cold, but I know it was man flu).

My daughter also been like this. Cold sore throat cough and feeling weak no energy. She went docs last night and they gave her antibiotics saying chest rattley but I think also cos she is diabetic and it’s been affecting her levels.
